Piano virtuoso and core member of I SOLISTI, Jan Michiels, embraces the rich sonic palette of the wind instruments.

Naturally, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is present to add his colors to this combination of piano and woodwinds. More than 200 years later, the Liège-born Joseph Jongen and the English composer Gordon Jacob, who taught at the Royal College of Music in London, were equally convinced of the expressive power, richness of sound, and communicative strength of the woodwind quintet.
